Director of Product, Design & Strategy / SuperFan
I am wearing many hats from day to day and I absolutely love it! Any given day I could be a designer, product guy, marketing guy, recruiter, bus dev dude, client/ account manager, sales guy, foosball player, or you might even find me painting the office.

At SuperFan, my role has expanded to become responsible for developing and leading over-all business strategies, identifying areas for competitive differentiation, and improving the business and product successes through defining, tracking and improving on key metrics. I am responsible for the defining our products, their specs, overall look and feel, and user experience.

I have been privileged with the entrepreneurial experiences of presenting my ideas to top VC’s on Sandhill Road. I have become quite knowledgeable of the Facebook Platfrom and policies and through our consulting business teir, SuperFan Solutions we have created Facebook Apps for big brands such MTV, Universal Music Group, William Sonoma, and our company adviser, NBA player Dwight Howard.

SuperFan is an all-star team of former Tickle employees, including Tickle’s co-founder.

    Update: SuperFan is now BranchOut.

Associate Product Manager for Ringo.com and LoveHappens.com / Monster Worldwide/ Tickle Inc.
As an associate product manager of two of Tickle’s business tiers, I helped lead the effort to grow Ringo.com, a photo sharing website, to 2 million page views a day and 800 million invites sent out per year and LoveHappens.com, a matchmaking website, to 1 million page views a day and 8.5 million total members. Role consisted of managing engineering and product team, prioritizing projects, managing QA testing and rounds of iteration on top of my role as lead designer and product strategist.
  • Oct 2003 - Feb 2008
Visual Interface Designer / Monster Worldwide/ Tickle Inc.
At Tickle, I designed many product iterations of our many social websites always balancing user experience with business goals. I lead the design of everything from email CRM streams, brand identity and marketing collateral, and even the office décor.

We built out a large sales team at Tickle and eventually built out an ad network called Tickle Grapevine that sold inventory for then up and coming partner sites Bebo.com, Hi5.com, Friendster.com and others. I designed and fulfilled many custom integrated social ad campaigns for Fortune 500 companies such as AT&T, P&G, Johnston & Johnston, L’Oreal, Sony, Disney, Time Warner, GM, Ford, Nestle, General Mills and more.

Also, I designed and optimized ad creative for our internal million dollar a month marketing budget. You may remember our famous IQ test ads that were often displayed across the major internet portals. These ads were highly tested and reworked for optimum performance and they did very well for us.

Tickle.com was a personality testing site that was at one point a top 20 global internet site with 200 million registered users and almost $40 million in annual revenue. Tickle was sold to Monster World Wide in 2004 for over $100 million. Tickle has since been rebranded by Monster as Testq.com.
